CO₂ cylinders are made available for the season. When the mosquitoes are gone, return your empty cylinders to your QISTA Sénas branch.
For the following season, all you have to do is buy the CO₂ refill, saving the €85 per bottle set-up fee.
QISTA ONE generates its own WIFI network. By connecting to its network, you can access its web app and control the trap using your smartphone. The QISTA anti-mosquito solution is based on a patented technology that works in 3 stages: attracting the mosquito from a distance, bringing the mosquito closer to the capture zone and capturing it by continuous suction. QISTA provides long-lasting protection against all types of mosquito. So, with its optimised aeraulics, the suction is even better adapted to the particular flight of the tiger mosquito. Acting like a mosquito hoover, your terraces, gardens and parks are free of mosquitoes and your family, or your customers, are protected from bites.
Similar to the BAM VISIO+ the QISTA ONE works thanks to the complementary use of the trap and consumables (CO₂ and olfactory lure). The trap attracts the female mosquito in search of prey, by simulating the presence of humans. The mosquito is then sucked up and trapped inside the trap.
The dispersion of recycled carbon dioxide makes it possible to imitate human breathing. The QISTA ONE benefits from a new diffusion system that enables it to halve CO₂ consumption compared with our previous models. The recycled CO₂ cylinder now has a duration of use of 2 months instead of 1 month. The emanation of the olfactory lure then simulates human body odour. Once in the vicinity, female mosquitoes around the areas to be protected are sucked up and captured by the QISTA BAM. Male mosquitoes and other species are not attracted by the trap, so they continue to play their role in respecting biodiversity. The mosquitoes are sucked up and trapped in a net, which has to be emptied manually on a regular basis.
The anti-mosquito trap technology is patented and has been shown to be non-toxic to humans and the environment. But remember: in a clean mosquito control effort, the aim is to sharply reduce mosquito populations by breaking the breeding cycle. Your QISTA BAM reduces stings by up to 88% in the protected zone. However, a small number of mosquitoes may remain.
Female mosquitoes will start to be captured in the first few days after your anti-mosquito trap is switched on. Not noticing any immediate changes? Don’t worry. Over the first few weeks, nuisance levels will gradually fall: mosquito eggs in your garden will only be captured once they have hatched. You’ll notice a clear reduction in the number of mosquitoes from the second month onwards.
When used optimally, each trap can protect areas of up to 10,000m², thanks to its 60-metre range (60m against traditional mosquitoes and 30m against tiger mosquitoes). The radius of attraction of the mosquito trap can be reduced by the presence of obstacles (houses, fences, pool houses, etc.) between the trap and the source of the nuisance. It is therefore advisable to choose the right location for your QISTA trap so that you are as well protected as possible. To do this, don’t hesitate to make a free installation study via the QISTA application.
Only one delivery method is available for the purchase of a QISTA ONE: QISTA send your trap and consumables in one go.Once your order has been prepared in our workshop and is ready to leave, our teams will send you your parcel tracking number. Failing this, the goods will be deemed to have been delivered in good condition.
The bottles of CO₂ are not returnable, they belong to you. During the season, QISTA offers you the chance to return your empty cylinders. As well as clearing up your clutter when your trap is off, this allows you to buy only CO₂ in subsequent years. The process for returning empty CO₂ cylinders is very simple:
Choosing the number of months of consumables when you buy your QISTA ONE allows you to acquire all your equipment for the first season of use.
The mosquito season can be longer or shorter depending on your département, this may affect the number of consumables you need to protect yourself for the whole of the current season. Don’t hesitate to check the situation in your département on the official French government website.

Just like your internet box, it is essential to plug your trap into a mains socket before trying to connect to the WIFI network generated by the QISTA ONE.
To connect your smartphone to the trap network, scan the QR code located on the door of your QISTA ONE using your smartphone’s camera. If you are unable to scan the QR code, go to your WIFI settings and connect to the trap network manually.
All the login details can be found under the QR code. The WIFI network has the name “QistaOne_xxxxx”, click on it and fill in the password. Note that the trap’s WIFI network does not give access to the internet.
⚠️ Android users may need to deactivate mobile data.
A second QR code is available next to the first, on the door of your trap. Once connected to the QISTA ONE’s WIFI network, scan this QR code to access the web app.
If you have problems connecting, open a web page and enter the URL indicated on the label: http://192.168.4.1
The web app is displayed.
Your QISTA ONE needs to be connected to the internet to carry out updates. Each time it is switched on, your trap will automatically search for available updates if it has an internet connection.
You need to connect the BAM to your smartphone’s mobile network using connection sharing.
To connect your trap to the Internet, first follow step 1. “Connecting to QISTA ONE” above. Once on the webb app, go to the “Settings” tab, manually enter the network name of your smartphone in the associated field, enter the network password and click “Save”.
(connection sharing information can be found in your smartphone’s general information)
Now, your QISTA ONE will automatically connect to the internet when this access point is available.

My friends can now come back to mine in the evening for a meal or drinks, something they didn’t do before... Because we couldn’t dine on the patio as we were devoured by the mosquitoes. We have now been given a new lease of life

Brilliant, finally mosquito-free nights! Thank you to the town council for this fantastic initiative!!!

With its mosquito traps already selling by the thousands in France, Qista is now targeting tropical countries where these insects present a serious public health issue carrying diseases such as malaria or dengue.
