What is the purpose of the protective cover?
The QISTA protective cover is to be installed each time your BAM is put into winter storage. This cover protects your trap from dust but also from insects and other pests that could find refuge there during the winter. Such intrusion could damage the machine’s components or clog the CO₂ hoses. Note that a dirty trap is synonymous with premature wear, reduced performance and technical problems. Once the protective cover has been installed, store your QISTA trap in a garage or garden shed until it is ready to use again.
