Storage
The mosquito lures can be kept for up to 6 months at ambient temperature as long as the box remains closed. Follow the storage and use instructions provided for your CO₂ cylinder refill.
Replacement
In use for 15 hours a day (recommended for optimum effectiveness), the CO₂ gas cartridge should be replaced every 2 months (only for BAM VISIO+ owner) and the lures should be replaced every month.
Delivery methods
- Withdrawal at Air Liquide: You will receive a parcel directly to your home with your lures and a voucher to collect your bottle of CO₂ from an Air Liquide pickup point.
- Standard delivery: Every two months or every four months, depending on the type of trap you have, a deliveryman will come and collect the empty cylinders and drop off 2 packs of consumables so that you can refill your trap.
- GOLD+ maintenance: Take advantage of all Qista’s expertise! Our experts will deliver consumables, replace them, maintain your trap and regularly check the larvae breeding sites on your property every month or two, depending on the type of trap you have.
- Do you live in the départements of 13, 31, 34 or 84? Come and collect your consumables free of charge from our premises in Sénas (near Salon-de-Provence), Izon (near Bordeaux) or Muret (near Toulouse).

1.Before buying the BAM
The Qista app can be a great help before buying your trap. Thanks to the app, you can plan your own set-up for your future mosquito traps: define your activity areas and those where mosquitoes are found, identify the type of mosquito and enter your details. It’s as simple as that!
This does not require any customer account set-up or commitment on your part. Qista experts will then send you a customised report by email with set-up advice for your future mosquito trap.
2. After installing the BAM
Once you have your trap(s), the Qista app opens up endless possibilities! The Qista BAM remote control option means you can control and set up your mosquito traps. Users can then change operating settings directly from the app installed on their Smartphone.
For example, the Smart BAM counts the number of captured mosquitoes and cross references this data with the weather data and the period. Depending on the selected mode, it can therefore adapt its operation and switch itself off when conditions are not favourable to mosquitoes. Remote programming and control means up to 30% CO2 consumption savings.
