How to buy CO2

Qista mosquito traps operate using the combined action of the trap and consumables (CO2 and olfactory lure adapted to the type of mosquito – tiger or common). The lures are delivered directly to your home. When ordering CO2, depending on your installation location, you will have the choice between collection from a specialised Air Liquide point or home delivery with the possibility of installation by one of our technicians.

BUYING CO2 FOR YOUR BAM

When ordering online or by phone, you will be given the purchase mode options for your installation location: collection point or home delivery (only for qualifying French départements*).

Collection point

  1. Receive your exchange voucher by post
  2. Take your exchange voucher to the collection point selected at the time of ordering and collect your cartridges.

Home delivery

  1. When ordering, you can add the option to have your CO2 cartridge installed by our technician.
  2. On completion of your order, a Qista adviser will contact you to arrange the delivery with you (date and location). You can choose your delivery location (at work or at a third-party address for example).

The cartridges are in 10 kg CO2 canister format (liquid gas) and are delivered directly by Qista or collected from a distribution point in exchange for the voucher available for purchase on our website. Thanks to our partnership with Air Liquide, you can choose from several hundred collection points in France and abroad to collect your CO2 canisters.

Qista CO2

In keeping with its eco-responsible approach, Qista does not produce any CO2The CO2 used in Qista machines comes from recycling, (in particular during farming storage processes that generate CO2 by fermentation or by the collection of natural CO2 present in the subsoil. This food grade CO2 is similar to that used in soft drinks).

The CO2 is stored in liquid form, which entails the use of packaging (metal canister) meeting several safety standards.

Deposit and return

You pay a deposit on the CO2 canisters supplied by Air Liquide and sold by Qista. Just like a domestic gas canister, this means deposit costs at the time of purchase will be refunded when the empty canister is returned.

The empty canister should be returned within 60 days of collection, so that tests can be carried out correctly. After this period, in compliance with the general terms and conditions of sale, penalties will be payable for failure to return the packaging.
