The tiger mosquito is a vector of serious diseases such as Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika and Malaria, some of which are transmissible to humans and potentially dangerous to pregnant women, babies, toddlers, the elderly and the immunocompromised. Very aggressive, the tiger mosquito bites during the day and especially at dawn and dusk. It is an urban mosquito that remains close to its favourite food source, human blood. Its bites are painful and dangerous to the health of humans and domestic animals.
